Took nitrate test on 432 acres that we put manure on and the test came back as 400 acres needed no more nitrogen. And the 32 acres I could flip a coin if I wanted to put any 28% on. I put 19 gallons of 28% and half rate of xyway plus some other goodies with the planter then sidedress with the rest of the 28% and the other half rate of xyway
160 acres of that 432 acres i plan on picking so will just put straight water and the other half of the xyway. The rest of it we will chop so want put and xyway on it. I will put some 28% on all the outside rounds of the fields. And all the rest of the picking corn. Wife was really happy that she didn’t have to come up with money for a bunch more nitrogen. Talked to a friend that lives by south bend and he said that they are seeing tar spot all ready
