| Sometimes it’s hard to correlate or see what’s going on with just a tissue sample. To really get a good idea take a soil sample with it as well. You might have nutrients there but they’re not showing up in the plant. Nitrogen could be out competing calcium in the getting into the plant and if you don’t have adequate calcium you’re gonna be low on iron, manganese, boron and other nutrients. Not sure what your pH is but if you’re above a 7 forget about building potassium just feed it what it needs. The big hit for K starts at VT but corn will more than likely start to show a N deficiency in the lower leaves if K levels get too low. I’d start with a soil sample to see what’s there. Long story short try to get K up before reproductive or you’re not going to keep up. | |
