20 Miles West of Indianapolis Indiana

I’m seeing some boron products that say “derived from Boric Acid” and some such as “derived from boron ethanolamine”.
Wondering if some of that is like comparing N types ? And if one type is more suited for foliar vs sidedress or early vs in season
