Don't think types of boron matter. Dry products that can be blended with p and k are usually either borax (10% B) or granular (14% B). If you want to blend with herbicide Solubir is a 20% B dry powder that dissolves fairly easily. I typically apply 1# actual to corn or beans and up to 3# actual to alfalfa.
