Subject: RE: does fungicide pay on late planted corn?

im located in northen iowa, sorry i didnt mention that earlier. i think ill have to evaluate corn price and potential yield over the next few weeks, corn price being a big factor, if it has a $3 handle and down trajectory, ill stop the helicopters :-) its interesting how many have experienced actually more benefits of fungicide to the later planted corn. i guess another concern is harvest moisture, an extra 1 or 2 point higher isnt a big deal on most years on timely planted corn, but if its a year (2009) where it just wont field dry below 30% then that extra point or 2 gets more critical.

thanks for the replies all.
