Strange that the plants that I see dying that you say are volunteers, are growing directly in the planted row and are 6-1/2 inches from the plants on either side of them. Occasionally I will see a small growing volunteer corn plant when I make my glyphosate burn down application in April . Glyphosate does not kill them.
