C IL

Extension here reported some novel PPO resistance last year in waterhemp and when I called and specifically asked, suggested PPO’s were likely all but done in IL for water hemp control.

Then an agronomist friend called this spring and said waterhemp blew through PPO pre’s in his area.

Lots of metribuzin was recommended, my plan this year was yellow plus 8-10oz metribuzin followed by overlapping anthem Maxx but weather made that difficult so I am relying on anthem Maxx right now and probably a second post pass of liberty for straggling emergers.
