Subject: RE: Hot loads?

NE Indiana
Welded in 2 2" fittings about 6" up the sidewall. Our sump is not centered so the front agitation is about 3' in front of the sump. the other is about 10' behind the sump. Inside I have street elbows front one points forward rear one points backwards. then I have 1 1/2" agitators screwed into them, the ones that look kind of like a trumpet. When they are running it looks like a really rough ocean in there. I don't run any dry chemicals like sonic in the tank but have had lots of loads with atrazine and the bottom is always clean when it gets emptied. I have also seen guys put fittings in the front and back and run an agitation tube down the center. The problem I see with that is even if it was put in very low at the front and back there would still be a couple feet of clearance in the center which in my opinion is too far to get good agitation going and get things stirred up that settle in the bottom.
