Greencastle, Pa.
Here in S/C Pa. [Franklin Co.] Slugs rule---------- There are thousands + of acres of Corn & Beans that have been re-planted, not just once but up to three times and they still got them. Lot's and lot's of 50+ ac. fields 2/3rds. eaten, beans or corn. Our Farm, they never touched our corn, none of it. One field is right beside our beans, nothing !! The beans? replanted three times over half eaten. Some areas we are going to wait and re-plant when we plant late beans after Wheat. We are now in a dry spell, had good rains up till June first, only .9th. on the 5th. that's it.
