Subject: does fungicide pay on late planted corn?

i have couple fields one planted may 13 other june 5th. im a believer in fungicide on a normal good looking crop, to protect and possibly get that extra 20 bushel if stars align. but theres a factor looming of "am i just helping the insurance company?" my may 13 planted field approximately 15% flooded out and my june 5th planted is.... well, planted june 5th. has anyone seen a worthwhile response on late corn? my plan was spraying nervous me-oh (miravis neo :-) ) pre tassel with a helicopter, but that is a spendy cadillac program on a 180 bushel crop if im optimistic (late frost ect) one thing about it is everything that will flood has probably already flooded... knock on wood. im a `corn warrior` but sometimes you gotta be a realist and pull the plug on inputs. thanks
