Looks like you retain a little more than half of the P and I. Look up a removal chart for baling straw and you'll have your answer.

I did the math on organic double crop sunflower where flame weeding with LP at emergence was my planned first weed control pass. Value of the lost nutrients burning the straw would be about equal to the LP cost so I figured I should just light the field on fire. Organic certifier doesn't agree though.
