Get tar spot then call me 1800 collect

Apparently there is some biological control for tar spot. Whether or not it is included in holganix is another story because I didn't get the list of biology included.

Generally speaking, the Elaine Ingham is pretty much right on the nose, and that is her best video. She jumped ship to permaculture and most of her techniques and ideals don't translate easily to large scale farming. However, applying some of the principles to Ag is in your best interest. Very generally, there is a war going on at the microbiology level in the soil, and the microbiology is what actually feeds and protects your plants, and helps increase the carbon in the soil. So you might not go no-till, but you could do shallow tillage. Or you won't make compost tea, but you could buy halgonix or other products to apply the bacteria and microorganisms you do want. And you do that with Legumes anyway by applying rhizobia.

What HAS changed in Farming over the last 10-15 years is the availability of the microbes, beneficial nematodes and mycorrhyzae at much lower costs to re-establish those populations that have deteriorated over the century of farming and heavy chemicals. Because field conditions vary, the effect of the biology is also going to vary as it needs to have the right conditions to establish itself.

It doesn't eliminate the need for all inputs, it just lowers how much you need and helps minimize the effect. Kind of like Theraflu, it doesn't kill the virus, but it slows down the replication of the virus so you aren't feeling as sick.
