NW MN | It’s not a matter of what the weather will be it’s letting the coop know so they can make a plan. Maybe there’s another field in your direction, closer or further, that they also have booked and roughly same timeframe. Maybe they could dedicate one sprayer on day 3 or day 6 of the 7 day window to head that direction or maybe there’s rain in the forecast past day 2 or 3 might hit the field a little early but your avoiding ruts or being late.
Work with your retailer or custom application company whether private or public. We do the most custom application by air and usually fungicides so plane might be booked up for days when it’s prime application window. Hard to determine perfect day but forecast and past experience come to play and giving the pilot a window of days. | |
