Subject: RE: Question about harvesting severely goosenecked corn

SE South Dakota
Had a lot of goosenecked corn in about 2002. 30" rows. We used a 20" corn head run at an angle to the row. Sort of at a right angle to the way the corn was laying down. If you could find a 15" corn head it would work better yet.

We have all tried using a cutting platform on down corn. It just doesn't work well like you would think it would.

Our experience.
