I know this is not a high rate by any means, but over time, watch your pH values. Elemental sulfur will lower pH. Now, at a 50 lb rate, it will take time, but you may still see some movement, especially in low CEC soils.


50lbs is probably as effective as peeing into the wind for moving soil ph. Agvise did a study with 10,000lbs/ac of elemental sulfur on high ph ground that is typical of the area, it moved .2 or .3 of a point. From 8.0 to 7.7 and then back up.
