You will be better off if you bale off the straw and get a good stand of soybeans. Seeding thought that much fresh straw with either a planter or drill and getting a good stand is going to be almost impossible. A stripper header would be another good option.


Haven't seen a mat of straw that our CIH 1245 planter won't slice through and put the beans in the dirt. CIH planter unit is the best option that have found for planting double crop beans.
