Subject: Soggy yellow wheat

North west MN
So have some spring wheat that has large areas of yellow stunted wheat it's only 6 inches high but starting to dry out now. Can see a line zig zagging where the water stood or was saturated would these areas be from nitrogen losses or are the roots just shallow and damaged after standing in water and need to regrow to get to the nitrogen? Have tried to revive wheat with additional n in past years like this but can't say it helped.
