Please explain layby for us semi northern guys, We don't use that term here. Does that mean banded?
I always thought the term came from cotton, way before RR technology. We used to “lay by” chemicals under the cotton for residual weed control. Was done with sprayers akin to y-drops but had gauge wheels and flat fan nozzles laying flat (horizontal) to the ground to sneak the chemicals under the leaves without getting too much on the cotton. |
