Last year we were very dry. I used our pivot to pop double crop beans out of the ground then didn’t water them again until they looked about petered out a few weeks from harvest.those two passes probably made 15 bushel.
I have also irrigated first crop soybeans before on a normal rainfall year and didn’t see any real results.
