We have a BTO here that's a big potato farmer and waters his soybeans as such. In the last 7 out of 10 years I bet atleast 30% of his fields die off from mold by the end of august and you can see it in late July thru August and he just keeps putting on!


Just be happy you have water, there were days last year I would just about admit to anything to get a few tenths of aqua on a piece of dry ground, just short of filling my sprayer and watering with it!! Lol

But In all honesty I think roughly once a week and when they start to blossom and roughly 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch every 4 to 7 days depending on soil type until your done filling out pods this is of course if you received absolutely no rain.

Area, soil, type, weather, variety, row width all have contributing factors. I kno what works for us

Timing is key, soybeans a fussy are very easy to over water.
