North Central Texas | Something is wrong with the hub or hex shaft that turns the discharge beater on our IH 1440. The hub will not stay in place and slides out which throws the main belt. My brother and I think the end of the shaft may be sheared because the bolt that holds the hub is exposed. Does anyone have a picture of what it is supposed to look like? I attached a page from the manual showing the hub in question.
