Interesting, I wonder how variable rate would work here on wheat. VR on corn has been a huge yield enhancer for me. 12-34K in the past but have switched to 12-30K after a few drought years.

Some agronomists here look at me in shock when i tell them that I'm planting 12K and parrot some BS that there isn't any water savings below 16K. I've proven them wrong.
