| I'd use oats and add radish or turnips if you want. Drill it in with the 955. I use 50-60lbs of oats and 2lb radish behind wheat, usually goes in the end of July or beginning of August. I've broadcast the oats before but even on a year where it should have worked I got poor results, plenty of rain after and I drilled right beside and that 15 acres was much better than the broadcast. Maybe drop to 40-45lbs of oats since you'd be planting earlier. | |
