Elsmore, Kansas | We went to strip till this yr. We strip 16 and plant 24, works really well with the exception to odd shaped headlands but it’s not horrible. We run RTK guidance. We pull a 16 row AgSynergy bar with the rzr row unit, 10 ton dry box and pull nh3 behind it with a 370 magnum. Pulled it at 6.5” and I could run 5-5.5 mph fairly consistently but that’s about the top end. Realistically I think a 450/500 hp four wheel drive would be ideal as I just don’t like magnums for tillage of any sort.
