Yes, consistent yield response with 15".... enough so we do not want to plant any 30's unless we have no other choice.
It is easier to have better fertilizer placement with 30" but for us that still could not overcome the wider row spacing penalty.

We grow quite a bit of plenish which are RR1's still and have been around a while so we have consistency in our varieties but I understand what you are saying as most companies are changing varieties very rapidly.
