| I’m in the same boat. 10 ac out of 40 with a very poor stand. I won’t rip any out and . I’ll patch in the 10 acres.
A piece of advice you didn’t ask for, I learned in 2019 some of this short season corn isn’t bred for our area and can’t handle the heat and humidity in central IL. I’m hoping to patch in the 10 acres this week and I’ll stick with 114 day corn and just deal with the moisture this fall. I’d rather have wet corn that yields and stands until the end rather than dry corn with poor yield and can’t get ears off the ground. | |
