Subject: RE: Burnt my beans

Hennepin, IL
Been using a similar concoction the last few years. No pursuit from the Extreme, but have thrown Enlist in which seems like it will add to the crop response in the right conditions. I used to hate burning beans but since I went to doing it early (shoot for v3-v4) we've raised the best beans we ever have. Best I can tell is you get that benefit of stressing them but it's early enough to not affect the R stages at all. Or it could all be in my head and it's something else we've been doing, or the weather, or the varieties, or whatever. All that to say, burnt beans, especially early are a non issue. Pretty tough to kill a bean using labeled rates and it's not some off the wall concoction nobody has dared try.
