Subject: RE: planting a wet spot ?

West Central Indiana
Last couple years this has worked for me. Had a few farms that I planted around a few small wet areas that would’ve tracked up badly if I would’ve tried to plant thru. I just stop planting and sow some very thick by hand. Believe it or not, it worked here. Soil was spongy enough that the rains must’ve brought them up and it stayed dry last year in June/July so they didn’t drown out. In your situation though I’d probably get the planter out though if it’s dry enough. 2acres is a lot to broadcast by hand and trying to use a disc would probably make a mess or bury the seed to deep
