Subject: June planting

I have a few corn fields that need attention. They were planted May 21st and got a really big/hard rain a few days later. At this moment they still have a little water on them but id say Wednesday they would be fit to go. I’d say 50% of the field emerged with a really good stand but the wetter areas that hold more water have nothing there. My question is, would you completely start over at this point? Rip it out and start over or would you patch it in and leave the 50% solid stand? How late have you planted and what has the yield been like? I planted late in 2019 and my yields weren’t great that year, I’m curious on others opinions and how they are handling these situations.
