Southern Illinois | Southern Illinois is a mess. Since mid April, it has been system after system. 3-4 days of rain and 4-5 days of clear weather. Starting the same cycle again today. Not enough time to dry out but enough time to get into the field and make a mess. There is a lot of corn to plant and replant, and a lot of 1st crop beans to plant and replant. Not to mention wheat will be ready in our area this week. Who only knows how that is going to go. If your crop went in timely and is off to a good start, count your blessings. It seems everyone has to take their turn and this year is ours. Thanks for allowing me to post. | |
