South Eastern VA | I would call it dead if it’s a non-liberty traited corn. I’ve seen 5’ tall corn get SMOKED from getting sprayed with it. I think the guys was doing a late insecticide application and thought the herbicide could get some late weeds as well. Oops!
The good news is it has no residual so you can replant right away. So in his case he bush hogged the field and planted it again.
What’s funny is liberty is weak in grass when you’re tryna get rid of it in other crop areas but it kills corn in like a 30 hour time frame. (just my experience)
