I wondered but couldn’t figure out how it would look like that still. That pattern makes total sense now that I look up what it is. I can see the bar marks in the corn when looking down the exact angle they ran but I had never seen it look like that perpendicular to the rows being this drastic. First year with RTK instead of markers too. Probably why it’s never quite looked like that before.
Yep, you haven't seen it before since you didn't have as accurate or any auto steer before. Perfectly straight (but angled) lines plus planted perfectly straight lines will give some fun patterns going across the field in angles you'd never think of
Same thing happens with no till beans planted at an angle to straight corn rows where you can still see the corn stalks. |
