I think there are two reasons it’s so drastic.

1. First year with RTK for planting so with Nutrien also using RTK the streaks are more vivid or defined.

2. Rain has absolutely pushed the N down and the corn is sitting in this limbo stage of not reaching it as quick as normal.

We go pretty light on N only doing 165 lbs of N with N serve. Should have some from the dry too but I wonder if I should have top dressed 40-50 pounds of urea. If I’m gonna do it yet I need to decide soon but I wonder if the rain will shut off now for weeks. I just have a feeling it has.


Can you Y-drop nitrogen?
