Thumb of Michigan
We were (un) fortunate enough to have growth regulator resistant Canada Thistle. My Grandad battelled them his entire career. As did my Dad, and I spent the first few years of mine doing the same. Basagran and oil sort of helped for a year. It was gratifying to see them burned off, but they were back the next years. Glyphosate was not effective at all. Stinger saved the day for us. VERY hard to find any C Thistle now. Used either Stinger, or a mix such as Hornet containing Stinger. I thought it pretty pricey when I first started to buy it- then my Dad reminded me that 2 generations ahead of me had spent a pile of cash and time trying to control them and didn't. If there was something available that worked, the cost was largely irrelevant.
