Split the planter with 59-82 and 108-64 this year. It's the best stand of corn I have, so I would say I haven't had any issues.
It's been so wet this spring that tile really matters. I just put some in last fall and should have had them put more in. Where it's even just a little wet the stand is poorer, but where I have it pattern tiled it looks amazing.
