johndeere4455 -  About 5 gallons of water with a half a cup of duracor and half cup of 2-4d Amine. Will be the last time you’ll spray the patch
Never heard of it.  When I start looking up the active ingredient I find this on an Organic Growers Alliance website :
This is a particularly potent herbicide. It does not degrade in  composting, it is found in hay, grass and silage cut from sprayed fields and the chemical passes through feeding animals into their manure.
The label says
Not For Sale, Distribution, or Use in New York State. Not for use on pastures in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
Looks like really good stuff

Except it's the wrong chemical. Aminopyralid is not as selective on thistles as clopyralid, the active ingredient in Stinger. Duracor is more for treating a wider range of plants. It's cheaper to tank mix cheaper chemicals for that.
