New Castle, PA | Years ago when we grew pumpkins commercially , we put down black plastic with drip line underneath couple weeks before planting . Did not work the ground again , just let weeds grow .Right before planting we sprayed roundup between the plastic . Then we sprayed between the plastic again right before the vines came off the plastic using a hooded sprayer . Clean as a pin all season. | |
