Went to a roundtable discussion with the MN Dept of Ag and some other stakeholders. Nearly all of the farmers on the roundtable agreed that fall applied nitrogen (expect, AMP, DAP, and manure) will not be allowed. It most likely will get voted on next year to be valid in 2026, potentially 2027.
So currently you’re 100% wrong in fall fertilizer across the state of MN being not allowed in 2026 unlike your previous post would lead people to think.
Dept of Ag has been attempting this for years and has had enough push back on them proving the need for all climates and geography that they pulled back on those plans rather then getting hands slapped for over reaching. Dept of Ag or employees independently from it has continued to make a case with articles in local and national media.
