NWMO | I would allow the beans to emerge as much as possible before spraying, preferably allow them to have first trifoliate out. Any earlier than that and they snap off at ground level really easily. If the weeds are bad enough, just send it and don't worry about breaking off the heads.
If it's me, I'd just go in and burn it down at this point and hope to buy yourself a couple weeks. The dual is not a great residual product to begin with, it gets the job done for a couple weeks and that about it around here. So I would try to stretch that application as long as I could. Burn it down with Enlist and Round Up (be sure to use good adjuvants and water ammendments) and go back in around 2-3 weeks from now and clean up any stragglers, lay down the residual then and pray that it holds until canopy. | |
