I agree you will have to spray them out.  What kind, Canada I suppose, they will take over if not
controlled.  Wild flowers are a nice thing in theory, but not always in practice.
Bees do best on legumes like alfalfa and clover, not on thistle.  Time to shine up on your
knowledge of flowers...........
