How big was the cover when it was sprayed? How long before planting was it sprayed? (if before at all)

The cover was bigger than I like. We had about four different fields that got a bit bigger than I like, but this is the only one with an issue.

The rye was about 12-14” tall. I like it in the 8-10” range.

It was sprayed on 4-12 and planted on 5-10
