| A few years ago a person claimed damage to their garden after the adjacent field was sprayed. I told them to figure the value of the garden and I would pay for it. They said $750 and I said OK. I showed up with the check and a hand sprayer full of roundup and 24D. They asked what I was going to do, and I said that “I bought the garden from you so I’m now going to completely terminate it.” All of a sudden they didn’t want the check any longer and decided the so called damage wasn’t so bad after all. With that being said, it wasn’t a swimming pool. | |
