Plan covers they say. It’s will be great they say. Then slugs eat your crop.
Covers have their place and it ain’t on my farm.
We have had tremendous luck with covers improving our ground. And honestly… if I had stuck with my normal routine we wouldn’t have an issue. If anything this is a lesson for me in the value of a quality seed treatment.
Not sure if others doing non gmo corn into covers have a better protocol for managing this? |
