Without the mojo wires they build up more in wet ground which will make any spacing trouble that much worse.
I run firmers on my planter, more concerned about even seed depth than a perfect picket fence spacing. Even the old JD 7000 planter that didn't have them wasn't perfect.
Small seeds like sugar beets may be more prone to being dragged, but don't have experience planting those.
Anyone ever notice seed firmers impacting spacing?
