west central ohio | I had a situation last year where I had pretty sever damage from a herbicide named Essensa....Its a group 2, and 14. I had extremely stunted beans all season, they didnt really come out of it. I estimate I lost about 20 bu ac after hearing what all my neighbors made. If I had to do it over again, no way in hell would I wait to see if they come out of it, I will chisel or moleboard plow that crap under, and start over...Esp since the guys who did a double crop after wheat had a better looking crop of beans.... I Wont use a residual here on beans again after last year. Every rain seemed to reactivate the herbicide an ding the beans again, and again... They were only about ankle high going into august....Never again. | |
