North Central Indiana
I agree hydraulic down force is the best upgrade I have made hands down. I ran airforce on old planter and the previous owner had put weight pins on every row. Air took to long to adjust and I had horrible press wheel ground contact. I also think a heavy frame planter is important for down force in notill. If it gets dry and hard or heavy sod a light planter runs out of weight. I ran a 1760 deere for 5 or 6 years it could be to light in tough conditions. You also could not run single disc fert due to how it folded. Great planter for conventional till not the best for notill.

I run one cast twister closing wheel and one SI on each row and love how it leaves my seed trench.
