Manila, Ar | I used 1qt/ac Warrant herbicide with Gramoxone before planting. April 20 planted 90k seed/ac at 1 inch depth, and weather has been excellent. 2 weeks later stand count was less that 7-15k/ac. Consultant says to replant, and I asked what did I do wrong. He and I couldn't find a thing wrong with first attempt, so I rinse and repeat, and plant another 90k seeds. This stand count is 45k in most areas, but still have small areas with less than 5k. The milo is really struggling to grow.......Bad seed?, bad concept treatment?.....what say you? | |
