You can plant after the plant date. You just lose 1% In coverage per day. Premium stays the same. Not uncommon for us to do that and looks like we may go a couple days over here.
BTW. Our plant dates are a good week too early to actually show yield reduction. We get some of our best yields planted in the next 10 days.
