Subject: Replant corn

NE North Dakota
Corn planted 4-26. 5th year corn on corn. We need to start strip till or change tillage as we are dealing with to much trash. But that is not the topic of discussion right now.

We have a final stand of 23k-33k in the field. The problem is I used row cleaners aggressively to remove trash from furrow. We than got a big wind that blew a lot of trash back over the furrow. The trashy areas have remained cold and emergence is poor at 20-25k or 23k avg in these spots. The less trashy spots have good emergence at 32-33k. 50% of field is 23k and 50% is 33k.

Do you replant?

Excellent dirt with irrigation and high fertility.
