This wheat appraised at about 1.5 bu in 2023. I’m spraying to terminate it on about this same date last year in the first pic. I left it completely untouched except for spraying for the last year and this is the cover I have left today. This will soon be planted to Milo. I experimented with planting some cover strips of Triticale on some that was worse than this and it seemed to help but will see if there’s a yield hit for the moisture it took to grow it.

Would that be perennial range land without crop insurance or would they keep trying to grow rowcrops?
